Born in Tasmania, Brigid traded island life for the Sunshine Coast at 10, but never stayed still for long. From Launceston to Edinburgh, London and beyond, she sharpened her craft and picked up barbering skills along the way. Returning home in 2019, she opened The Wayward Barbers’ Club in 2023 — creating a space for great cuts, good banter, and zero cookie-cutter barbering. because why give regular haircuts when you can add a bit of flair *and* swagger?
With 22 years behind the chair, Gabs has sharpened her craft across Victoria, Perth and the Gold Coast before settling on the Sunshine Coast in 2017. Known for her sharp cuts, solid banter, and eye for detail, she’s the kind of barber who makes sure you leave looking fresh and feeling better than when you walked in.
